GDC is an acronym which stands for Giornata del Colore (The color day), a university festival situated in Alghero. I designed the festival’s visual identity around the theme “No-Made”, evoking both nomadism and hand-made creation. At first I wanted to develop a character with some viking traits and a weapon which resemble a steel building bar (as a symbolism for our architecture university department).

Then I moved on a flower-shaped mascot symbolizing more creativity and movement than the previous one, which became the central element for the merchandise and digital campaign.

The project extended to crafting an Instagram spot which I made with Blender, merging vibrant motion and color transitions to embody the festival’s dynamic, traveling spirit. The result is a cohesive visual language that celebrates freedom, craftsmanship, and the vibrant energy of color.
