The brief was to design an urban furnishing element using Sardinian stone as the main material. In the original version the pieces are arranged to produce a gradient from light to dark. The selected materials come from the Orosei and Nuxis quarries, reducing transportation costs. Manufacturing relies on subtractive techniques using CNC machinery for cutting the elements and producing the mechanical fastening slots.

A second version introduces a red-toned gradient. This colorful variation whose warm hues stand out in bold contrast to the lush green of the grass landscape

Each module includes a single or two cut holes through which a steel cylindrical bar runs, locking all parts together and preventing the bench from being removed or stolen.
